Siyawela is an independent, non-profit training agency that implements and manages education programmes aligned to the needs of South African communities.
Established by GM South Africa Foundation in 2000, Siyawela has developed and implemented training interventions which offer innovative approaches to problems affecting schools and communities.
Siyawela consequently has an extensive portfolio of effective education programmes which can be offered in a variety of contexts.

Company Details
Siyawela was established as a Section 21 company in terms of the Companies Act in 2000 and registered as an independent NPC (Non Profit Company) with CIPC in July 2011. A new Memorandum of Incorporation was lodged in terms of the new Companies Act in July 2012. Tax exemption was issued by the Receiver of Revenue in 2015. Siyawela is also a Level 1 B-BBEE contributor, as more than 75% of beneficiaries are from previously disadvantaged groups.
